Kidney Kids Camp took place this year in July at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch set in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The NKF sent ten kids touched by kidney disease, along with four volunteer nurses, to spend a week living in cabins and having new experiences. Kidney Kids campers participated in all camp activities including hiking, swimming, horseback riding, sports and overnight campouts alongside 150 other summer campers. At the end of the week, everyone left with new friends, stories and a lifetime of memories from their time at summer camp.
