The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is built upon a message of hope championed by the individuals and institutions dedicated to saving and improving the lives of patients with kidney disease. NKF established the annual Champions of Hope Awards to recognize the champions who have made extraordinary contributions in the areas of patient advocacy, health care, philanthropy, and research relating to kidney disease and organ transplantation.
