Volunteer opportunities with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) are available throughout Northern California, including Sacramento, the Central Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and beyond. We can provide a rewarding volunteer experience for every skill level, age, and interest, whether you are a professional, a student, or a family looking to volunteer together.

Events include Authors Luncheons, Kidney Walks, Golf Tournaments, Galas, and other unique fundraising events. Here are some examples of what our volunteers do:

• Serve on the Planning or Fundraising Committees
• Distribute refreshments and cheer on participants at the Walks
• Registration on event day
• Act as scorers at golf tournaments
• Decorate and set-up for galas and Authors Luncheons
• Prepare mailings at NKF's San Francisco or Sacramento office
• Call walkers and volunteers to encourage their participation
