The National Kidney Foundation of Northern California is currently seeking funding for a wide range of preventative, educational, research and patient service programming in the Northern California region. To read a detailed proposal for the following programs, please click on the links below.
Healthy Kidneys for Life, a program that teaches elementary schoolchildren about kidneys and the prevention of kidney disease. The program was created to address the prevalence of kidney disease in minority populations through awareness and prevention. Please

Kidney Kids Camp, a week-long summer camp for young dialysis and transplant patients. Kids camp allows these young patients the unique opportunity to enjoy summer camp activities with their peers while continuing to receive necessary medical care. Please

Research Fellowship Program, a program which supports talented young researchers in the areas of nephrology, urology, and transplantation. Please

The Chronic Kidney Disease Education Program, a program that will offer individual and group counseling and education programs to patients newly diagnosed with all stages of chronic kidney disease. The program will also help to coordinate care and disease management with patients, their physicians, health care providers and social services. Please
