The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) does a variety of different free kidney wellness screenings: a simple blood pressure screening, a blood pressure and blood sugar screening, and a screening which includes a blood draw which determines the serum creatinine (which indicates the filtering ability of your kidneys) and the calculation of the estimated GFR (an indication of kidney function). NKF also offers the more in depth Kidney Early Evaluation Program screenings, or KEEP. These free KEEP screenings taking up to 45 minutes per participant, are part of a large research study and are for those at risk for CKD only. The KEEP screening includes a 20 minute interview health questionnaire, blood pressure, height, weight and waist circumference measurements, a urinalysis, a blood draw and a consultation with an MD or Nurse Practitioner.

See links below for information on each screening type.
