Northern California is home to as many as 1.8 million people with chronic kidney disease and nearly 16,000 patients already on dialysis and/or awaiting transplant for kidney failure.
The National Kidney Foundation is the oldest and largest organization dedicated to serving these patients, the medical professionals who treat them and those in the general public who are at-risk for future kidney problems. In order to maintain and expand its full range of services in the area, NKF is currently seeking corporate, foundation and individual partners. A number of programs, fundraising event opportunities and volunteer leadership are outlined below.
