Healthy Kidneys for Life is a program that teaches elementary schoolchildren about kidneys, healthy lifestyle choices and the prevention of kidney disease. The program was created to address the prevalence of kidney disease in minority populations through awareness and prevention and was recently revised to address the growing problem of childhood obesity.
